Sheraton Full Moon Maldives Accomodation

All the villas of the Sheraton Full Moon Maldives have been reconstructed to provide a even better experience for its guests. Constructed by a dedicated, skilled and “green” team who possess generations of woodworking skills to accentuate high luxury but at the same time it does not disrupt the natural feel. Of course the villas come with high end luxuries like in-room dining, air conditioning, wireless internet and all that jazz! A popular choice of most guests is the Over The Water Villas or Bungalows. These villas are built over the water with private terraces that give you direct access to the sea, water villas are popular because they provide a high level of privacy and an intimate premise with the lovely turquoise lagoon. The beauty of the Maldives is most of the time difficult to articulate. Please see these wonderful pictures of the Villas!

Dining At The Soneva Gili And The Wonderful Over-Water Bar And Lounge

Here, guests of the Soneva Gili shall experience true paradise. The wonderful scenery and experience should be as good as the food. The dining is as good as it gets, we were able to request for a moonlit dinner on our villa and the Main restaurant is just so delightful. The Main Restaurant of the Soneva Gili is located at the west side of the Lakanfushi, has an amazing breakfast menu and of course is able to fill in the requests of those discerning gourmands. The Over-Water Bar and Lounge and is glorious, the mere sight of the establishment will send you to excitement. It offers light meals and a lunch buffet of Mediterranean, fresh of the garden salad, daily fish catch, a delightful array of imported meats and my personal favorite sushi The Over-Water Bar and Lounge is a great place to just be in even with no apparent reason, live slow no shoes; thats what the Maldives is all about. But my favorite part is the customizable menu on the Over-Water Bar and Lounge its like anything you can think of then you order then there is this excitement on what will arrive on your plate, I can probably do that all day and everyday; its just so much fun! For those who want a little at-home dining experience, we recommend the Private Villa Barbecue service. Oh that glorious meat and seafood while lounging away with drinks at the privacy of your own villa. It does not get any better than that.

Sala Thai At The Male

At the center of the Male lies one of the best Thai Restaurants in the Maldives!

Sala Thai Restaurant Maldives

Spend your next holiday at the Maldives! For more information visit www.maldivesdivetravels.com and www.wwwmaldives.com

Sala Thai is located at the center of the Male International Airport and is usually frequented by those coming in and out of their long flights. Well as we were, they would be in for a gastronomic treat thanks to the Sala Thai Restaurant. Like most authentic Asian restaurants the Sala Thai sports a very minimalistic and effective interior that has a tantric feel. The Sala Thai takes pride in the fact that it imports its ingredients from Thailand every week and has a master chef that is also Thai. How more genuine can we get, Customers must book early for a great meal here at the Sala Thai because the place is only small but the turn overs are quite fast so expect not to wait too long. The service is average but people are just a lot friendlier here.

The Food in the Sala Thai is well for one, very spicy for untrained and/or unprepared palates that will strike me as most likely, European and American. After meticulously scouring at the Menu of the Sala Thai, our minds were made up. But honestly we kind of already knew what we were going to have before coming here being a big fan of Asian cuisine and all. First to arrive was the smoothies that were very good though this would not be a surprise for a tropical place like the Maldives to provide fresh tropical fruit, Otherwise would have been unacceptable. The green mango salad was just delightful and paired with deep fried just caught from the sea fish it made it even more amazingly good. Yummy stir fried beef soup was just heavenly, everything was wonderful. Service is very detailed and friendly, very welcoming. I wish it was at my Hotel Resort! I would have gone here after my scuba diving sessions. Just about everything from the satay, curry and of course the pad thai were great! Just make sure you inform the waiter on how spicy the dishes would be, because the food can be really really hot!
